BrainPOP Jr. App Reviews

Fun

This app is the best. It teaches me so much

Black screen

After we login the app will not allow us to play videos. It is just a black screen.

Movies provide good info

I really like the movie topics & information provided. I do wish there were more movies to choose from though. My students always ask if they can watch Moby when I introduce new topics or concepts.

Confusing subscription model

This app and other brain pop do not have a consistent payment model. Something is free something isnt, there are several apps, sometimes subscription to full access means you cannot log into mobile app. Ridiculous. I want to pay for "all" access in one shot, but it does not seem to provide that feature. I am so frustrated that I think I might have to cancel my 10 month membership. Wish they could just make a simple table so its easy to know what you are buying. Very annoyed customer

COOL

I think that is a cool way too learn I only thought that learning was boring Buford this app

Hhaatte I it

This game is not fun like not so so not .it makes me mad because it need a stupid password .im like whats the dang password .

Ok....

I like this app, but its cheesy. Moby is funnier on BrainPop. And Annies voice changes from deep to high. Tim and Moby=Laugh Out Loud milk comes out of my nose Annie and Moby= Eh. *cricket chirp* I would recommend this app for children ages 3-8.

Terrible

This only allows a little bit of the videos

Good luck canceling this.

Once you sign up, they keep charging you. Good luck canceling it.

changes cellular settings on its own

My daughter enjoys this game. Its informative and the videos are kept simple and cute. However the game resets my cellular data usage. Every time I turn it off it turns it back on. I dont appreciate a game controlling my settings. Delete.

Good for kids

Kids can like this app

Bug

I cant get to the App

WORST

Every time I would click on it it would shut off and go jump straight back to the home page so Awful

So frustrating!

We subscribed (5.99/mo) a few months ago but I quickly saw that my 7 y/o wasnt using it so within the aps settings (it wasnt all that clear) I thought I cancelled our subscription. We deleted the ap and didnt think much about it. Until I just did some investigating about why I was spending so much $$ at the ap store!! Come to find brain pop was still charging us! I re downloaded the ap so I can look further into this (I cant remember my username, etc and the website seems to have no clue who I am) and now the ap crashes every time I open it. Tsk tsk tsk!

Crash

The app bonks every time I try to open it. Just started after updated to latest version.

Crashes

Please update. App continually crashes and will not load. Thanks!

It crashes EVERY time.

U torture me! Y u always crash oh my freaking God fixe the darn crashing okay!

App doesnt connect to online accounts

My students each have an account and submit quiz scores to me. However, when using the mobile app instead of the desktop, I cannot see what a student has missed, only their score. Also, their score doesnt connect to my teacher account and, therefore, is not included in class data, making the data they give me virtually useless. Love My BrianPOP. Not a fan of the mobile app. Fix these problems and I will LOVE IT.

Free

Like it, but buyes need to be free-1.30 cents.

Educational

I use this app for my child and it has been very helpful. We subscribe for the explorer mode. My child love the short videos and the quizzes. The only complaint I have is the movie of the week is not change in timely manner. For example, Basic Addition and its related topics have been shown for two weeks. The other day I checked and found out that they have updated it with a new movie about Mexico, with maps, etc as related topics, but the next day it was switched back to Basic Addition. This is frustrating because it interferes with my lesson plans for the week. Please fix this issue.
